The Drake Neighborhood Association is committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and connected community in one of Des Moines’ most historic and diverse areas. Centered around the presence of Drake University, the association promotes neighborhood pride, civic engagement, and strong relationships among residents and local partners. As a key part of neighborhood associations, community organizations, and local services, the DNA plays an essential role in raising awareness for the Drake Neighborhood in Des Moines.

St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Parish and Student Center is a vibrant faith community in Des Moines made up of servant leaders, residents, and students. Known for its welcoming spirit and active parish life, the church supports a wide range of ministries that foster connection, service, and spiritual growth. St. Catherine offers a place of faith, formation, and fellowship for all.

Church of Hope + Elim exists to serve the city of Des Moines by helping build and preserve the Beloved Community on earth, as it is in heaven. All are invited to come as they are, experience the presence of the Lord, and be renewed by the Holy Spirit. Through scripture-based messages and meaningful conversation, this welcoming congregation offers spiritual transformation and connection as part of Des Moines’ churches and community life.
